Grayling Evangelical Free Church

GRAYLING EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH

Vision Statement:

We envision reaching Crawford County and beyond with the good news that Jesus saves. - Luke 15

We are a church passionate to win people to Jesus Christ.  We encourage our congregation to build relationships with family/friends/neighbors and share Christ with them.

We envision supporting this witness through training, outreach events, and church services where we can bring our family/friends/neighbors to hear the gospel and encounter Jesus.

We see a joyous congregation where people are warmly received and deeply valued.  We desire to follow up and include each newcomer in the life of the church.

We see Grayling Evangelical Free Church made up of people from every ethnic, national and economic background. We are a tapestry of God’s grace united in the person and work of Christ

We have a vision of teaching believers, through the Bible, how to love God and their neighbors – Colossians 1:28, Matthew 22:37-40

We strive to be a body of authentic, devoted followers of Christ. Through the Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and discipling relationships, life transformation is occurring.  People are becoming more Christ like.  Prayer is a vital value at Grayling Evangelical Free Church. We are truly people of prayer.

We desire to see vibrant ministries for children, youth and adults.  We foresee classes for spiritual growth, a strong Small Group Ministry, and children’s programs.

We see a congregation where people discover their spiritual gifts and passions and are equipped for ministry within the church and community.

We envision sending believers into the world, both locally and globally, to share the story of how Jesus saves. – Romans 10:13-15, Acts 1:8

Outreach is not a program, but a natural overflow of our lives in Christ. Through outreach ministries we will meet the needs of our community, drawing people to Christ.

It is exciting to extend Christ’s work from Grayling to the ends of the earth. - Matthew 28:20
